Pacific National’s TT Class units are used for working coal trains in the Hunter Valley of New South Wales. The first six were built with removable ballast pods, which enable the locomotive’s adhesive weight to be varied for different traffic needs should this be required. They share the GT46C-ACe production model that is in service with various freight railway operators in Australia.
