The Stony Point line extends from Frankston to Stony Point, where the terminus is close to the shore of Western Port. Ferries link Stony Point with Phillip Island and French Island. A line previously ran from Baxter to Mornington. The Stony Point line is the only line operated by Metro (Metro Trains Melbourne) that is not electrified, and services are operated by Sprinter DMU railcars. The line is single track throughout. A limited number of services operate each day.
