The Shorncliffe line is a branch line from Northgate on the Caboolture line. It is double track from Northgate to Sandgate and single track over the last section between Sandgate and the terminus. All services on the line stop at all stations. Shorncliffe station is located close to the shore of Moreton Bay. Services from the Shorncliffe line typically extend to Cleveland after travelling through the city.
