Built by Downer EDI, the LDP Class were formerly part of Progress Rail’s fleet, but were purchased by Pacific National in 2019. Three of the original LDP Class members were reclassified as TT Class units, while another two were reclassified as SSR Class and six as 83 Class. The remaining units are in service working interstate freight trains, mainly between Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane.
