Two small diesel-hydraulic locomotives were obtained in 2016 by South Maitland Railways. Their original service was in Germany and Malaysia before they were brought to Australia in 2007. They were used in track laying in the Hunter Valley before being stored for several years. No. 32 is used for shunting at East Greta, near Maitland in New South Wales, while No. 33 is now used for spare parts
